So the family got up at 3 am and drove to Madison to go to SOAR. I had trouble sleeping the whole way there so i was pretty tired when it came time for me to take my placement tests for math and english at 9 am. After that we went to a series of different lectures and boring things and then basically just meeting all these new people. Its kinda weird because i always feel like im just being so fake when i was hanging out with these people. Im used to not having to worry about impressing my friends because most of them have known me for at least 7 years and i can act totally natural around them without worrying about constantly making a good impression. But the people there were actually really nice and fun to hang out with. It was also really cool that everyone was from different areas of the country.

Monday:

Still at SOAR and im so glad that i dont have to share a bathroom with an entire floor of girls next year. i would die. For some reason i couldnt sleep at all. My roommate wasnt so terrible, i just felt weird and couldnt get comfortable all night. So the day started out pretty bad because we were registering for classes and basically Madison has no majors that have anything to do with what im interested and i cant take any of the classes that i though i would want to take. They were also really mean about it, telling me that they dont consider what i want to do as "academically appropriate" they kept being like "we dont do that here" and "people dont come here for that". SO i pretty much just took a few random classes that i have absolutely no interest in, whatsoever. But then i hung out with some pretty cool people so it made my day a little bit better. Then we headed home and i slept like a rock.

Tuesday:

I slept pretty much all morning and then went to work at the bay. Which was ok. After work i went to see Wedding Crashers with Sean, Kris and Eric. It was such a good movie. I cant wait to buy it! On the way home i talked to Neal and had like a mental breakdown but he helped me out and made me feel a lot better. It actually reminded me a lot of last summer which was so much fun, but i duno i feel so much more mature about everything now. haha. me... mature. thats fantastic.
